The following video was a lesson that I delivered over problem solving. The unit we were studying was over polynomials. To start the lesson, I had students study multiplication tables so that they could obtain the skills needed to factor. I then gave the students an application lab which was completed in pairs. As they completed the application lab, I did the problems on a smart board. After the application lab was completed, the students were asked to do a "one pager" where they had to create their own story problem. They then had to make an artistic paper with the story problem and include the problem, a picture, a title, multiple colors, a border, and the answer. The lesson plan that I used is linked below.
