Students will use geometers sketchpad to create a square, circle, triangle, and 3D box. Under each figure, students will use sketchpad to determine perimeter, area, and volume (when applicable). The students will post their document on the class wiki. Students will be graded on mathematical accuracy and will be graded on whether they used geometers sketchpad to find the answers. This project is worth 40 points.
Standard this project satisfies: The student uses given measurement formulas to find perimeter, area, volume, and surface area of two- and three-dimensional figures (regular and irregular).
